Senior User Experience Designer

Supported the continued UX strategy and design of a large complex, LIMS2 – Lab Information Management System. Agile, In App Dev environment with two-week sprints.

  • Conducted user discovery sessions, designed complex user flows, created high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, tested users and presented designs to solicit feedback and identify gaps, iterated designs based on feedback. Presented final designs to stakeholders and developers in order to garner understanding and buy-in on design decisions.

  • Documented research and design decisions to inform the design system as a whole.

  • Communicated with developers in order to ensure successful implementation of the designs, balancing technical constraints with user needs.

Reynolds - BAT, Winston Salem, NC • 2019-2023

Manager User Xxperience • 2022-2023

Created and supported UX strategy across the Reynolds portfolio of brands. Performed moderated and unmoderated testing of user journeys, navigation, and cart checkout with prototypes, card sorting, tree testing and questionnaires. Collaborated cross-functionally with Design and Development teams.

Projects included:

  • Performed tree testing and card sorting on website navigation based on data from research of users to the site. Tests were conclusive to the fact that users were confused to the terms used in navigation and distribution of navigation. 

    • Data and suggested changes were presented in the case study to the brand team for approval prior to implementation.

  • Executed card sorting and user journey testing on the Vapor brand site navigation and several portions of the website, presenting information detailing issues and recommendations for updates to enhance usability and create a happy path for checkout and subscriptions.

Senior Manager creative studio • 2020-2022

Drove ongoing development and growth of Reynolds Creative studio to 12 team members. Integrated efficient work strategies, asset management, and delivered cross-functional collaboration with UX team for research, testing, prototyping, and journey mapping for the Vapor and Modern Oral brand.

  • Began execution of phase 2 of the Digital Asset Management process utilizing AEM, enabling assets to be tagged, given metadata, and loaded to AEM websites used by a majority of the brands.

  • Implemented of Adobe Screens allowing for commercial videos to be pushed to screens in all contracted retail locations.

Lead Manager Content Delivery • 2019-2020

Oversaw growth for 6 staff members supporting Vapor and Modern Oral brands. Integration of work strategies and asset management to increase speed to market. Design and execution of marketing campaigns utilizing print, digital, social, paid media, and video.

  • Executed Phase 1 of the Digital Asset Management process using Sharefile, onboarding external agencies across portfolio of brands giving Reynolds Creative Studio team access to all previously created assets.

  • Improved speed to market substantially and ensured Vaper and Modern Oral brands reacted quickly to FDA regulation and market changes.

Served as digital creative for 17 foreign and domestic automotive brands across 15 retail locations. Content and asset development supporting web, email, social media, and print. Researched, created, and spearheaded processes and ways of working with Design team, including new email deployment, project management tools, and optimal web user experience.

  • Executed Salesforce and Salesforce library, enabling Operation team to deploy emails in-house quicker, time- to-market earlier, and implementations easier.

Web design and development
